File transfer
We want to make it as easy as possible for our customers to electronically send files to us for output, whether you're across the street or across the country. Your job can be made available for pickup at our Downtown lab, or shipped via UPS or FedEx.
We offer our customers several options for sending us their files via the Internet:
FTP link
FTP server link:
ftp://ftp.chromedigital.com
Mac OSX "Connect to Server..."
Mac OS X users may transmit to our server using the "Connect to Server" feature of OS X.
Java uploader
The following link will take you to our Web/Java-based uploader.
FTP File Uploader
(link opens a new browser window)
You may use either the "Crush Uploader" or "Browser Uploader" menu buttons to transmit your files. It is recommended that you try the Crush Uploader feature first, as it allows you to drag and drop your files and folders into the uploader interface, and is somewhat more convenient.
Please call 619-233-3456 or e-mail output@chromedigital.com to notify us that you've sent your files, and to provide your contact information and a description of your job.
Small files (less than 5MBs) can be attached to an e-mail addressed to output@chromedigital.com. Please provide contact information and a description of your job requirements.
File transfer using Mac OSX "Connect to Server..."
From the Finder menu at the top of your screen, click "Go".

FTP instructions
Many Windows users will have success entering our FTP server address into the address bar in any window in Windows Explorer, such as the "My Computer" window. The Windows operating system should connect to our server and allow you to drag and drop your file in the window that you've typed the address into. If you are sending multiple files, you may create a folder and drag the entire folder into the FTP server window.
Internet Browsers
Clicking on the ftp server link: ftp://ftp.chromedigital.com may also open a window in your internet browser which you can drag and drop files into.
Internet Explorer 7 or greater provides a "Page" menu (upper right corner of browser window) to "Open FTP site in Windows Explorer". Drag and drop your files and/or folders into the resulting window.
Firefox requires a plugin called FireFTP to upload files to an FTP server. This plugin launches a full FTP client program for uploading files. After navigating to our server, you can find the FireFTP client under the Firefox "Tools" menu. See below for the information to be entered into the client.
FTP client programs
You may benefit from installing an FTP client program on your computer. This will allow you to save the settings to our FTP server (and any other servers you may need to access), and provide more control, visibility and stability to your file transfers.
Filezilla is a free FTP client. For this, as well as any other FTP client program, the proper settings are as follows:
FTP server information:

Please call 619-233-3456 with any questions or problems. Also, please call or e-mail output@chromedigital.com to notify us that you've sent your files, and to provide your contact information and a description of your job.
